Especially thanks to the Radio Bean for hosting the gig every other Saturday, Queen City Social Club for first accepting my idea and helping me make it reality, Burlington Records for being the local sponsor, Mary Provenzano for the great full length window banner, Amy Wild for the fancy promotional poster, and all of YOU vinyl lovers who make it out every other week for an afternoon of eclectic music.

Originally from New Orleans, this threesome decided to relocate to Brooklyn after Hurricane Katrina. Sara Lucas provides some of the best female vocals that I’ve heard in a long time. Some truly powerful shit! Their latest release “Life of Love” has been garnering incredible reviews. Even Pitchfork gave their album a solid review. Lady Lioness will be startin’ things off right. Really lookin’ forward to this night.

I would put a lot of money that I don’t have on this being one of the most entertaining shows this spring. There has been a ton of hype surrounding this groups live show and I’m not surprised. Just youtube them and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Make sure you wear clothes that you don’t mind getting drenched with sweat.
